Prices and fees  

Student fee

1.400 DKK (190 €) per week incl. food, lodging, materials and travels*

Students fee not lodging

860 DKK (110 €) per week incl. materials and travels during the course
Addition for single room 225 DKK (30 €) per week
Bed linen and towels 600 DKK (80 €)
Administration fee 1.500 DKK (200 €)
   
Solo lessons 150 DKK (21 €) per 30 minuts
Solo lessons take place in basis weeks - the exact number of lessons are therefore variable from spring/autumn


*some study trips abroad can result in extra payment


Fees
The weekly fee covers all expenses during your stay. These include tuition (not private lessons), room and board, tours, various materials, photocopies, concert and theatre tickets, internet access, and more. Your only additional expense will be your own pocket money. Payment is due at the start of the month. Travels abroad will result in extra payment. 

For students within EU your payment will be split into three rates.
The first two rates is to be paid before starting up at Performers House.
Performers House reserves the right to adjust these fees.
You will be asked for the administration fee immediately after enrollment.

For students outside EU you must apply for a visa. Performers House assists you in doing this.
As a student from abroad (with visa) you must pay the total amount of your student fee before being able to apply for the visa.

The standard is to share double rooms but for an additional DKK 225 (30 €) per week you can have a single room. There are only a limited amount of single rooms available.
Students with reduced payment cannot apply for a single room.

Bed linen and towels can be rented for an additional DKK 600 (80 €) for the entire stay - to be paid along with the first payment.

Upon registration you must pay a DKK 1.500 (135 €) 

All applicants must be at least 17½ years old by course start.

Spring 2012:

7th of January - 22. of June 2012 

Fall 2012: 12th of August - 15th December 2012
Spring 2013: 5th of January - 21th of June 2013
Fall 2013: 11th of August - 14th of December 2013



Refunds in case of withdrawal
If you withdraw less than eight weeks before the start of the course you will be charged for four weeks of studentfee.


Leaving the course early
If you decide to leave the school before the course is over, you must pay for the rest of the month and for the subsequent 4 weeks.

Financial aid
Municipal aid: Some Danish municipalities provide financial aid for stays at folk high school (højskole), but the rules vary. Ask at your municipal office. Do not change your official address during your stay at the school.

Reduced student fee: If you do not have the financial means to pay for your entire stay yourself, you can apply to the school for financial aid. Contact us for information on how to apply.

Welfare/unemployment: It is possible to combine your stay at the school with an action plan or educational plan. Enquire at the AF job service or ask your caseworker.

Other aid options: Students from other Nordic countries are entitled to grants and scholarships from various programs in their home countries. Students living in Schleswig-Holstein or southern Jutland are also entitled to special support options.

New EU countries: Students from the new EU countries can apply for grants that cover part of their tuition. Please contact us for more information.
