ELECTRONIC MUSIC AND COMPOSITION at Performers House goes behind the technique and start from scratch with instruction in how to compose music and build this exciting and ever more expansive style
We also teach you basic audio engineering, such as hard disk recording, bouncing, dithering and mixing / mastering, so you are well equipped to make good sound production.
The course is based largely on the challenges on the creative level, with emphasis on the individual student projects. You will have ample opportunity to develop your own personal expression, both technically and through your compositions.

Electronic Music at Performers House
At Performers House we have the best facilities and the latest gear including two professionally equipped music rooms, three stages, a studio with the latest gear, and our “it-globe” with 16 iMacs, -all with Logic 8 installed.
During the course there will be concerts, both in-house and at established playing venues. If you wish, it is also possible to arrange concerts in the local area of Silkeborg, and at our own cafe-nights every second Friday, the stage is open to all students who wish to perform. - Here everybody is welcome to contribute, and do so!!

The Electro Line is part of a stimulating performance environment, together with the school and all of the students. Besides the line subjects, there are classes like film, art and philosophy, choir, PR, and project management - with students from the other lines. Furthermore, there are optional classes like sound, visual, PR and lighting.
If you wish, you can take solo lessons in an instrument. Solo lessons are not included in the main school tuition and will cost an additional fee. Contact us if you have any questions or want to know more.
The Electronic Music line is part of a stimulating performance environment, together with the school and all of the students. Besides the main subject, there will be common courses in Reflections, choir, PR/Communication, Danish language- and culture/ International culture and Lovers with a camera.
