The Dance program at Performers House will further your personal development and nurture your practise and understanding of contemporary dance studies.
You will gain strong foundation in: Contemporary Release based technique, Ballet Technique, Dance Theatre practise and Fusion Break (street dance).

Through out the program an emphasis is placed up on creativity as well as dance techniques. Students are challenged to think outside the box, find new ways of working and are provoked to achieve authenticity. As a starting point those applying for the program should be interested in contemporary dance training, choreography, artistic contexts and breaking personal boundaries. Students will be encouraged to spend their time in creative play, learning both the art of body discipline and creative freedom. There will be many opportunities for collaborating with other diverse dancers as well as students from the music, theatre and new circus courses.
Students will be taught and guided by Professional dance artists whom are experts in their field as well as accomplished teachers. The dance program at Performers house is the perfect opportunity to develop your skills as a contemporary dance practitioner and will enrich you with a wealth of knowledge and a variety of artistic perspectives.
